About the Role:

On a daily basis, you would be responsible for laying down secure development processes through architecting, writing, reviewing, and maintaining all parts of the Sommelier protocol’s smart contract stack.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, audit, launch, maintenance) of smart contracts for the Sommelier protocol. Technologies: Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry
• Collaborate with front-end, back-end, and smart contract engineers to rapidly iterate, experiment and launch features
• Participate in risks analysis, design, and integration with other DeFi protocols
• Build and improve the tooling for analytics, monitoring, and alerting of the Sommelier protocol
• Work closely with Research and Development to define functional requirements

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have deployed smart contracts for DeFi, and/or governance contracts and gone through several successful audits with auditing firms. The ideal candidate would also have a strong security background and an interest in DeFi and Web3.

• 2+ years writing and deploying to Mainnet Solidity smart contracts
• Proven track record of live smart contracts
• Deep knowledge of smart contracts security is highly desirable
• Experience deploying DeFi apps
• Experience developing smart contracts with Foundry
• English: highly proficient in both spoken and written English
• Ability to work in US timezone
